Nonfeasance

When appealing to the police, people often face the nonfeasance of officers. Usually a report will be made, but it will be left unverified, or the most basic steps and actions which could make a real difference are simply not taken, and no explanation is given. Sometimes it’s difficult to make them initiate a criminal case, even if the evidence is black and white. In fact, the police can issue multiple orders of refusal, without reference to the applicant or prosecution office. Some typical situations that will go unacted upon at the police department are: cases in which a child has to be tracked after being unlawfully abducted by one of the parents, fraud, property damage, or bodily injuries.
